The Hebden Bridge Guitar Society was formed in April 1998 in answer to the need for guitarists to have a venue at which they could practise performance in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Once a month a "guitar circle" meeting is held. This takes place on the third Monday of each month (except August) from 7.00pm until 9.30pm. The guitar circle meetings are
held at St James Church,
Activities include guitar ensemble work, theory discussions, technique discussions, visiting speakers, and opportunities for individual performances. Do come and join us, even if you’re a beginner (special parts have been written for you!). Refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) are provided.
